  Hard to give an enthusiastic review under the circumstances that brings one to the Neptune Society but Ed at the Castro Valley location has been a pleasure to work with.
  Can't say enough good about this location, 30 yrs ago they helped me with my mom and then 15 yrs before that my little brother. Death is hard and you need a friend.

  There is a lady working for the Neptune society by the name of Faith. Be careful, she does not care about your lived ones final wishes she just wants to get you to buy a expensive urn or product you don't need. She refused to mail me my loved ones remains because I could only afford the shipping price of $150. She stated that she didn't want to mail the ashes in the cardboard container, I need a $200 urn and $150 to mail it to me. I talked to her many times and since I refused to upgrade the urn each conversation just got worse. She ignored the estate of my loved one that gave a clear executor of her final wishes and what was to become of her remains. My friend wanted her remains to be intermixed with her deceased husband and son and scattered at a location in Sonoma county. Now the remains are being shipped to Texas to her brother. My only hope of getting her final wishes accomplished is to beg her brother to either send the remains back to California or I will have to ship the remains of her husband and son to Texas. Her husband and son have no connection to Texas. Both spent their entire lives in the San Fransico Bay Area. I am sure Faith wanted her commission but how greedy and low down do you have to be to deliberately dishonor someone's final wishes so that you can get a commission? I have anger and a lot of guilt about the fact that I am unable to honor the dying wishes of my friend. Not sure how Faith sleeps at night, she is not even the least bit concern about the damage she does by being so rude and difficult to people while they are grieving. I will never use the Neptune society for any of my loved ones nor will I ever have a kind word to say about them. They can think Faith for that.
